Honoring a Legacy of Excellence
The Interp Store stands as a living tribute to the vision and dedication of Greg Burns, whose passion for theater arts began in childhood and flourished through decades of teaching and coaching. Greg's formative years immersed in performance set the stage for a lifelong commitment to nurturing student talent. As a public high school drama teacher at Grapevine High School for more than twenty years, he shaped countless young performers and invested deeply in their academic and artistic growth. Beyond his classroom, Greg championed UIL competition both locally and nationally, serving as a private coach and consultant to schools across the country. He became renowned for developing original scripts and instructional materials crafted specifically to help students and educators pursue UIL excellence.
Greg's approach strengthened school programs and inspired students to achieve their highest potential on competitive stages. After Greg's passing, his niece Mallory assumed stewardship of The Interp Store, relaunching it to preserve these valued resources and advance his mission. Guided by family values and professional integrity, Mallory and her team continue to support teachers nationwide, ensuring Greg's legacy remains at the heart of performing arts education. The Interp Store is more than a business; it is a carefully sustained heritage empowering the next generation with impactful, field-proven materials.
